6:30am: The elephants finish their breakfast, then go outdoors to exercise while their barn is cleaned. A brisk walk around the ranch provides the aerobics. Elephants, like any athlete, must stay active to keep their muscles in top condition.

8:00am: Elephants have fun practicing everything they have learned, and all of the new things they are being taught.

9:00am: Each elephant gets their daily bath and drinks their fill.

11:00am: Time for snacking, napping and playing. Mental as well as physical stimulation is very important in keeping elephants healthy and happy.

3:00pm: Yards are cleaned and raked from corner to corner.

4:00pm: Learning is fun. The elephants practice new behaviors and get some more exercise. The elephants look forward to interaction with their trainers, as well as the praise and treats they receive as rewards.

DUSK: After another refreshing drink, it's time to settle in for the night.

NIGHT CARE: Every hour, the elephants are checked, fed and the barn is cleaned. At 10:00pm, the elephants are fed enough hay to last until morning. At 6:30am, we start all over again!
